HK-1008 Refractometer

Overview

The HK-1008 Refractometer meets the requirements of the SH/T 0686 test method. It is suitable for measuring the freezing points of ethylene glycol-type antifreeze, propylene glycol-type antifreeze, and glass cleaning agents, as well as the freezing point of the electrolyte specific gravity in lead-acid batteries. It is a small, precision optical instrument for measuring solution concentration. Its basic principle is to measure the refractive index of a solution using the critical angle total reflection method, thereby calibrating the concentration and performance of the measured liquid.

Functional Features

1. It is a critical angle refractometer. The lens is wrapped and protected by a high-strength plastic sleeve, and the other end is equipped with a polished glass prism. A rotatable plastic cover on top ensures uniform distribution of the sample and prevents overflow.
2. It features simple operation, easy portability, convenient use, minimal sample volume requirement, and accurate, rapid measurement.
3. It adopts an optical-grade prism holder to ensure clarity and durability.
