Overview
The HK-12583 Lever-Type Four-Ball Friction and Wear Tester complies with the requirements of test methods such as GB/T 3142, GB/T 12583, SH/T 0845, SH/T 0202, SH/T 0189, SH/T 0204, and SH/T 0762. It adopts the form of sliding friction and is mainly used to evaluate the load-carrying capacity of lubricants under extremely high point contact pressure conditions. It includes three indicators: the maximum non-seizure load (PB), sintering load (PD), and comprehensive wear value (ZMZ). In practical applications, different evaluation indicators can be selected according to the various uses of lubricants. The maximum ambient temperature of the tester’s oil cup can reach 250℃, and it supports preset settings such as time, friction force, and temperature. It can also measure the friction coefficient of friction pairs.

This tester is mainly suitable for lubricating oil evaluation and has broad application prospects in various tribology fields, industries such as petroleum, chemical engineering, and energy, as well as in colleges and universities, research institutes, and other institutions.
Functional Features

  1. Can display test data in real-time, such as friction force, friction coefficient, rotational speed, temperature, and time. It can display various related curves and analyze and process test data.
  2. Has an alarm and shutdown function, which is triggered according to set parameters such as friction force, friction coefficient, and time.
  3. The test report has an editable function, allowing users to customize their own report templates freely.
  4. Automatically calculates the maximum friction coefficient, minimum friction coefficient, and average friction coefficient.
  5. The software supports switching between new and old standards, as well as unit switching.
  6. The software can automatically calculate the average diameter of wear scars, and automatically calculate technical parameters such as the PB value and ZMZ comprehensive wear value based on the wear scar diameter.
  7. The software can automatically calculate the weight value of the weights hung at the end of the lever.
  8. The software supports automatic testing at a set temperature, and automatically stops the test and heating when the test end conditions are met.
